Prior Work
Nick was formerly CEO of Mercury Media, a PE-sponsored media agency seeking to move beyond its legacy infomercial business. Nick pivoted the company, introducing sophisticated integrated planning and data analytics capabilities before landing several high-profile new clients and selling the business to strategic buyers.

Before Gannett, Nick was President of Company C, a unit of MDC Partners. He transformed the struggling direct mail boutique into a dynamic integrated agency. Under Nick’s leadership, Company C delivered innovative digital strategies for A-list clients such as Capital One, MetLife, and Virgin Atlantic. He then forged a successful merger with Kirshenbaum Bond. Nick delivered 4X growth and achieved the highest rating under MDC’s long term incentive plan.

Nick was an SVP at Digitas, the preeminent digital marketing agency, advising Fortune 500 clients at a time when the internet was in its infancy. He led the agency's B2B Center of Excellence and led the FedEx relationship.
As Group Director at Diageo, Nick devised a successful repositioning strategy and award-winning ad campaign for Smirnoff, the world’s #1 vodka and the company’s flagship brand.
